Lisa Evanson Comedian Actress Speaker

Hello There!

Lisa’s comedic taste developed in the womb when she heard her dad say ‘I hope it’s a boy,’ but didn’t take to the stage until summer 2018. Since then, she’s become a Twin Cities stand-up staple, having been a regular at Acme Comedy Club and Sisyphus Comedy Room, named a 2021 “Top 5 Comics to Watch” by, 2021 Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy “Funniest Person with a Day Job” Finalist, and as the 2020 Winner of Acme Comedy Club’s prestigious Funniest Person Contest — the first female in its then 29-year history to win the competition. Her acting chops have earned her similar hardware — winning Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress in various 48 Hour Film Projects, as well as sharing Best Acting Ensemble and Audience Choice multiple times with her cast mates. She’s been featured on the FOX 9 Morning BUZZ show and lauded in The Star Tribune, City Pages, and her mother’s annual Christmas letter. Lisa hopes you were as impressed as her mother is after reading this intro she wrote in the third person.

Pierre Douglas was raised in Minneapolis MN, being funny on Twitter is what lead Pierre to pursue standup comedy in 2012. Since then he has opened for comedians such as Darnell Rawlings, Ali Siddiq, and Taylor Williamson from “America’s Got Talent”. His greatest accomplishment to date is opening his own comedy club with fellow twin Cities comedians Brandon Riddley & Bruce Williams and having that comedy club be the hosting venue for Kevin Hart’s Comedy Central show “Hart of The City.
