HELLO THERE!
Lisa’s comedic taste developed in the womb when she heard her dad say ‘I hope it’s a boy,’ but didn’t take to the stage until summer 2018. Since then, she’s become a Twin Cities stand-up staple, most recently named a 2021 “Top 5 Comics to Watch” by MNComedy.com, 2021 Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy “Funniest Person with a Day Job” Finalist, and as the 2020 Winner of Acme Comedy Club’s prestigious Funniest Person Contest, making her the first woman in its 29-year history to do so. She’s been featured on the FOX 9 Morning BUZZ show and lauded in The Star Tribune, City Pages, and her mother’s annual Christmas letter. She hopes to make similar waves in her new home of Los Angeles, CA.
Lisa has acted on screen for various short films including multiple 48 Hour Film Festival projects, recently winning Best Actress award for her lead role alongside Cassie Osuji in “Serious Business” which also won Best Writing, Audience Choice Award, and was runner-up Best Film; and also won Best Supporting Actress in “Natural Selection”, along with the winning “Best Acting Ensemble” crew. She’s also taken to the stage, having played Angela from The Office (despite being twice as tall and thicc) in the 2019 Minnesota Fringe Festival’s “The Scranton Strangler: An Office Musical”. The cast won Audience Pick and Venue Pick, and was nominated for Best Musical and Best Musical Ensemble at the Broadway World Regional 2019 Awards.
In between projects, Lisa enjoys guest podcasting and recently appeared on the Virzi Triplet’s Podcast, as well as the Marconi Award-nominated Garage Logic Podcast. A proud University of Minnesota alum, Lisa has established herself as an agency and corporate digital marketer, having written copy and led fully-integrated advertising campaigns for McDonald’s, Subaru, Coca-Cola, Valspar, Fortra, and more at Minneapolis’ top tier workplaces: MONO, Olson, Carmichael Lynch, Arc, and Target Corp., which only furthered her Target addiction but she’s not mad about it.
Last but not least, Lisa loves chicken pot pie, Pomeranians, and her parents. In that order.
Ultimately, Lisa lives to ignite joy and encourage others, and would love to do so on your next film project, commercial, comedy show, or event where she’s happy to emcee & host. Fully clean comedy sets are no problem. Fill out a contact form to book with Lisa now!
