HELLO THERE!

Lisa Evanson is a Minneapolis-based actor, comedian, writer, and producer creating character-driven comedy across film, digital, and branded content.

Lisa recently wrote, produced, and stars in the short film PARA(AB)NORMAL, a comedy about what happens when content creation collides with the supernatural. Her on-screen work includes lead roles in DOCUMENTAL and Have A Fit, along with performances across independent film and digital series. She is also currently producing additional narrative and digital projects.

With roots in stand-up comedy dating back to 2018, Lisa has performed and featured across the Twin Cities, Los Angeles, and Austin. She also works as a host, emcee, stage performer, and improviser. She is the winner of Acme Comedy Club’s Funniest Person Competition and has been recognized as one of Minnesota’s Top Comics to Watch, in addition to receiving Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress honors at regional film festivals.

Lisa has trained at The Groundlings and studied sketch writing with Rich Talarico (Key & Peele, SNL, MADtv). She is currently a producer for 87.9 KWHO, a fully improvised radio station, and serves as a board member of Minnesota Women in Film & Television (MN WIFT) and a member of the Minnesota Film Alliance. She is represented by Wehmann Talent Agency.

With over a decade of experience in advertising and marketing, Lisa has led and managed campaigns for brands including Subaru, McDonald’s, and Target, among others. As a performer and creator, she has led campaigns for brands including Best Buy, Dr. Squatch, Owala, and ROKU, among many others, and has modeled for dozens of national and regional campaigns.

She also works as a consultant and keynote speaker, helping brands and teams develop voice-driven storytelling – ultimately in pursuit of making people feel seen, connected, and a little more joyful. Last and certainly not least, she loves chicken pot pie, Pomeranians, and parents. In that order.
